President- Richard Lafferty
Richard Lafferty is a Finance and IT professional who currently resides in Citrus Heights, CA. Richard most recently worked for Intel Corp. for just over 13 years in a variety of roles, starting out as a Finance Analyst in Rio Rancho, NM in 1995. He then spent a year in Portland, OR and then moved to California in January 2000 working at the Folsom campus, initially as an Account Manager for an Intel startup group and then moving over to their IT department as a Business Analyst.
Prior to joining Intel, he served 5 years in the U.S. Air Force as an Accounting and Finance Officer with assignments in Arizona, Iceland and Germany, reaching the rank of Captain before leaving the service in 1992. His educational background includes a B.S. in Economics from the University of Central Florida and an MBA from the University of Arizona. His hobbies and interests include travelling, snow skiing, cycling, hiking and camping. Being well travelled, he is currently writing a book about day trips from the Sacramento area.
