March 10th- Jim Watkins- Getting a State job- “Why does it take so long?”

State managers and job applicants both want to know “why does it take so long to get hired with the State of California?” Mr. Watkins will briefly cover the state hiring rules you never knew existed and why they exist.

About Mr. Watkins – Jim Watkins was a Manager with the State of California for thirty years. So he knows the frustration from working in the system.  Mr. Watkins also completed a business analysis for the State Personnel Board’s new web-based job application system, so he’s familiar with the system as well.
